Responsible for producing safe, technically accurate and cost effective concrete and structural steel designs and deliverables for natural gas facilities.
Responsible for discipline management as well as leading and directing other civil engineers.
Responsible for the project scope of work, budget and schedule, communication or scope changes, coordinating and exchanging technical information with other project disciplines.
Preparing and reviewing detailed engineering calculations, design drawings, documents, material, equipment specifications and engineering studies along with developing and maintaining civil foundation, concrete, and structural steel drawings.
Coordinating and exchanging technical information with gas companies, inter-company divisions, architects, owners, vendors and other third parties.
Develop, train and mentor engineering and design personnel in the department.
Other duties as assigned.
A Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering (ABET-accredited) and 2-5 years’ experience is required.
Professional Engineer Licensure and experience in the natural gas industry is preferred.
Working knowledge of 3D, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and STAAD structural modeling and analysis software is preferred.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite required.
Must have good communication and analytical skills.
